Ponce Inlet – Ponce Inlet is a quiet, understated community with a population of just over 3,000 residents.  It is an affluent community, with many beautiful, private oceanfront and Intracoastal Waterway homes.  Its proximity and ease of accessibility to the Atlantic Ocean has made this community a destination for tourists seeking deep sea fishing charters, outstanding seafood restaurants, and an overall casual lifestyle.  There are a number of marinas available for all types of vessels.

Ponce Inlet features the only working lighthouse between St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral.  The lighthouse, which was built in 1887, is open to the public for tours. It is also home to the Marine Science Center, which is open for tours.  Seafood festivals and Reggae music are popular throughout the year and add to the vibe of the community.

Ponce Inlet Employment – Employment in Ponce inlet revolves around tourism, hospitality services, and charter fishing enterprises.  Deep sea fishing charters, marinas and restaurants are the major employers.  The greater Daytona Beach area provides additional employment opportunities.  The area’s largest employers are Halifax Health, The Volusia County School District, Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial, NASCAR, Daytona International Speedway, and the various colleges and universities – Daytona State College, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Bethune Cookman College, Stetson University, and The University of Central Florida.   Manufacturing concerns in Daytona Beach, as well as tourist-oriented businesses provide employment.

Ponce Inlet Schools – There are no schools in Ponce Inlet.  Students attend R. J. Longstreet Elementary  in Daytona Beach Shores, Silver Sands Middle School in Port Orange, and Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange.  The schools are part of the Volusia County School District.  Additional Information may be found in the school district website.
Area Colleges – The Daytona Beach area is fortunate to have a number of  colleges and universities where one can obtain a degree in a diverse number of fields. These institutions are:  Daytona State College, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Bethune Cookman College, Stetson University, and The University of Central Florida.   

Ponce Inlet Condominiums – For those who enjoy a carefree life, there is nothing like living in an oceanfront or riverfront condominium.  Harbor Village offers a varied lifestyle with condominiums, homes and villas as well as privately owned docks. Ponce Inlet Luxury Condominiums may be found along the shoreline, including Harbor Village.

Ponce Inlet Homes – As you enter the enclave of Ponce Inlet, you will find a colony of older, oceanfront homes, many of which have been renovated, some which have been torn down to make way for newer homes.  As you travel into the city, you will find beautiful new homes and scaled down condominiums.  It is an affluent community made up of full time residents, weekend and seasonal residents.  Ponce Inlet Luxury Homes range in price from  $500,000 to over $4 million. Las Olas subdivision offers lots and custom homes.
