Like many of you visiting this page today, my life has been touched by Cancer
That is why I volunteer much of my time as Chairman of the Board of the
Volusia-Flagler Unit of The American Cancer Society. Almost everyone we know
has a family member, spouse, co-worker or friend who has been diagnosed with
Cancer.
Did you know?
1.3 million people like you and me will be diagnosed with Cancer next year.
3,744 residents of Volusia and Flagler counties were diagnosed with
Cancer this year.
We need your help.
We are very close to reaching our goal of raising $869,000 to provide
services, education, and transportation to cancer patients. We need to
raise $2,275.87 by August 30, the end of our fiscal year.
How can you help?
Mail one dollar ($1.00) to the Volusia - Flagler Unit of The American
Cancer Society. Tell your friends and neighbors about our "One Dollar
Helps" campaign. If all of us work together, we can make a difference
in a Cancer patient's life. This event concluded. Thank you!
Please send your donation to:

Among many other services, these are some of the ways your American Cancer
Society assisted patients in the Volusia - Flagler area this year:
1. Provided Cancer patients with transportation to 340 doctors'
offices and treatments.
2. 39 women with Cancer were provided assistance with the "Look
Good...Feel Better" program at the Halifax ROC and Florida
Hospital in Ormond Beach.
3. Six Volusia County high school students with Cancer were
provided with 4-year college scholarships.
We met our goal. Thank You for Caring!
